These terms cover the AI4LD companion tools and AI design agents hosted on this site, operated by Dr. Brenda Bannan / AI4LD. They supplement the AI4LD Terms of Service, which govern purchases and the wider AI4LD ecosystem. By using these tools you agree to both.
What these tools are
Each tool is an educational thinking partner for instructional design and learning experience design (LXD) professionals. They are learning resources, not legal, financial, compliance, or other professional advice. Outcomes depend on how you apply the material in your own context.
AI-generated responses
The tools generate responses dynamically using third-party AI platforms. AI output can be imperfect, incomplete, or confidently wrong. Treat it as first-draft thinking: review and validate anything a tool produces before relying on it, and apply your own professional judgment to your learners, organization, and constraints.
Acceptable use
Use the tools for your own learning and professional practice. You may not: abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent limits of the tools; scrape or systematically extract their content; use their content or underlying prompts to train AI systems or build competing products; or attempt to make a tool act outside its intended educational purpose. Please do not enter personally identifiable information, confidential employee data, or proprietary company information — see the Privacy Policy.
Your work product
What you create with a tool from your own inputs is yours to use in your own projects and deliverables. Attribution to AI4LD / Brenda Bannan when you reference the frameworks is welcome and appreciated.
Intellectual property
The tools, their content, and the Integrative Learning Design Framework (ILDF) are the intellectual property of Dr. Brenda Bannan / AI4LD™ and are protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The tools are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and may change or be withdrawn at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI4LD’s liability arising from your use of these tools is limited to the amount you paid for access to them (for free tools, zero).
